Moundsville Penitentiary (Prison) Tours

Don't miss the opportunity to experience the shock of what life was like behind the huge, cold walls of the former Moundsville penitentiary. It is in the National Historic Register, and encompasses over 10 acres. This Gothic-style prison was constructed during the Civil War era and remained open until 1995.
PRISION TOURS:
April - November, Tuesday - Sunday, 10:00am - 4:00pm
December through March by appointment only.
Closed on all holidays.
Night and evening tours are conducted on weekends by appointment only.
Adults $8.00, Seniors $7.00, Children $5.00, children under 5 free. Group tours available by appointment.

Learn how to use actual Ghost Hunting gear, ghost hunting protocol, how to take the best paranormal pictures possible, and a brief history of “Spirit Photography”. This classroom is on site at the prison! You will learn the ancient art of Dowsing and how to use it in an investigation.(80% of people actually have this ability). Learn paranormal terms and meanings and then explore the prison in a small group setting. 2 hour class followed by a 2 hour private investigation of the infamous WV Pen.

Harpers Ferry Ghost Tour

Ghost Tours Of Lewisburg

Take a candlelight walking tour of haunted homes and sites in the Lewisburg Historic District. Two tours are offered each Friday and Saturday night, September through November, and by arrangement. The Mansions Tour is at 7:30 and the Cemetery Tour is at 9:00pm. The tours originate from the General Lewis Inn.
